The National Conference on Down Syndrome/Landskonferansen om Down syndrom

The next three days the DSL+-project will be attending the National Conference on Down Syndrome. This year the conference is held in Oslo, at Scandic Hotel Fornebu.

During these three days individuals with Down syndrome, their family members and practitioners are able to attend talks with a wide spread of topics. Several of the talks are focusing on language and communication in Down syndrome and we are really looking forward to be attending as many of these talks as possible.

In addition to being an opportunity to gain new knowledge we think this is a nice opportunity to come together and share experiences. First and foremost for the families and the practitioners working with children, youth and adults with Down syndrome, but also for us as a research team. For the DSL+-project the national conference is a great opportunity to give information about our work and get valuable feedback from booth parents and practitioners.
